Hotel Musician – Live Piano/Violin Performer

About the role

Join Sofitel Dubai Downtown as a Hotel Musician, delivering live piano or violin performances that enhance the luxury atmosphere for guests. You will be part of a vibrant entertainment team, creating memorable musical experiences in a 5‑star setting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality live music on piano or violin according to the approved hotel schedule.
• Create an elegant and relaxing ambiance that complements the hotel’s luxury environment.
• Play a diverse repertoire—including classical, jazz, lounge, contemporary, popular, and instrumental pieces.
• Maintain a professional appearance in line with the hotel’s grooming and uniform standards.
• Perform during special occasions, private functions, weddings, gala dinners, themed evenings, and other hotel events.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Events, and Entertainment teams regarding performance schedules and requirements.
• Attend rehearsals, sound checks, and musical briefings as required.
• Ensure proper maintenance, handling, and storage of instruments and related equipment.
• Adapt volume, tempo, and style to suit the venue and guest environment.
• Collaborate with other musicians and hotel staff to deliver seamless entertainment.

• Professional and polished appearance with strong stage presence.
• Excellent punctuality and reliability.
• Ability to interact courteously with guests and colleagues.
• Flexibility to adjust performance style to different events and settings.

Required skills

• Proficiency in piano performance.
• Proficiency in violin performance.
• Broad repertoire covering classical, jazz, lounge, contemporary, popular, and instrumental music.
• Ability to read and interpret musical scores.
