HR Business Partner

About the role

Gateworth Group is partnering with a respected family group operating across real estate, retail and education to hire an HR Business Partner for its Education division in Dubai. The role will act as a strategic advisor to school leadership, translating business strategy into people‑focused initiatives that drive growth, performance and a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support recruitment, onboarding and retention of teaching, academic and support staff, ensuring a positive employee lifecycle.
• Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including performance management, attendance, conduct, grievances and disciplinary processes.
• Collaborate with school leadership on workforce planning, succession planning and talent development to meet current and future staffing needs.
• Partner with principals and department heads to deliver HR initiatives that enhance educational excellence, staff engagement and organisational objectives.
• Drive employee engagement, wellbeing and learning initiatives that promote a high‑performance culture.
• Ensure compliance with UAE labour legislation, safeguarding requirements, HR policies and educational regulatory standards.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of HR experience, preferably in the education sector, with exposure to retail or multi‑site operations.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management and HR best practices.
• Experience working with managers and board‑level stakeholders across diverse functions.
• Solid understanding of UAE labour law and HR compliance requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship‑building skills.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent HR certification preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment.
