Industrialization and Supply Chain Coordination Principal Engineer

About the role

AL TARIQ is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead the industrialization and supply‑chain coordination for turbofan engine programs. The role bridges engineering, manufacturing and supply‑chain functions to ensure a resilient flow from raw material sourcing to certified engine delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering Manufacturing, Product Management and Industrialization teams to select and qualify suppliers in target countries.
• Define and execute make‑or‑buy and supply‑chain strategies for the Turbofan department, guaranteeing delivery commitments.
• Synchronise manufacturing, assembly and test schedules with parts delivery plans.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks such as supply shortages, capacity bottlenecks, long‑lead items and cost overruns.
• Ensure compliance with international laws, standards, Powertech processes and export‑control regulations throughout the supply chain.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in turbofan propulsion supply‑chain selection and qualification.
• Strong knowledge of turbofan architectures, subsystem integration constraints and performance drivers.
• Proven ability to manage complex supplier networks and drive industrialization initiatives.
