Information Technology Project Manager

About the role

The company, a large multi‑entity group in the UAE construction and engineering sector, is seeking an experienced Information Technology Project Manager. Reporting to the CIO, you will lead digital transformation initiatives across the group, overseeing projects from business case development through to steady‑state support.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, business case, budget and timelines.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts and procurement.
• Design, test, and roll out solutions, including Oracle E‑Business Suite modules.
• Coordinate cut‑over activities, user training and adoption.
• Monitor project performance, risks and issues, reporting to steering committees.
• Ensure compliance with UAE e‑invoicing, VAT, corporate tax and data protection regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on IT project delivery experience.
• At least 2 years managing projects end‑to‑end as the accountable project manager.
• Experience with ERP, enterprise applications or infrastructure projects.
• Exposure to construction, engineering or multi‑entity environments is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, IS or Engineering.
• PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner preferred; other agile or ITIL certifications advantageous.
