Instrument & Control Supervisor – Offshore (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

The Instrument & Control Supervisor will lead the instrumentation and control activities for an offshore project based in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to the Assistant Head of Processing, you will ensure project execution aligns with schedule, budget and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Head of Processing and Senior Instrument Engineer in implementing project plans and schedules.
• Supervise and coordinate on‑site execution, monitor actual expenditure against approved budgets, and prepare additional budget proposals when needed.
• Provide leadership to the project team, set objectives, manage performance and motivate staff.
• Implement and review policies, procedures and systems to ensure consistent best‑practice application.
• Monitor material, equipment and technical skill quality, and oversee external contractor performance.
• Conduct regular project review meetings with contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure timely completion.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering (or a Diploma in the same field).
• Minimum 5 years of instrumentation and control construction/testing experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role within the oil & gas sector.
• Brownfield project experience is preferred.
