Investment Advisor / Portfolio Manager Structured Products

About the role

On behalf of a prestigious boutique external asset‑management firm based in the DIFC, we are seeking an Investment Advisor / Portfolio Manager focused on structured products. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Investments in Dubai and will support the construction, execution and ongoing management of investment portfolios for international clients, primarily operating during European working hours.

Key responsibilities

• Construct, manage and monitor client investment portfolios in line with objectives, risk profiles and mandates.
• Provide investment advice and recommendations across structured products and other asset classes.
• Identify, assess and compare structured‑product opportunities based on client objectives, risk appetite and liquidity requirements.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end structured‑product transactions, including selection, pricing, approval, execution and settlement.
• Monitor product and portfolio performance, maturities, credit risk and market developments, and recommend rebalancing or reinvestment.
• Prepare investment proposals, portfolio reviews and market updates for client and internal meetings.

Required profile

• 3–10 years of experience in investment advisory or portfolio management with a focus on structured products.
• Background in private banking or asset‑management environments.
• Ability to work European hours from Dubai (approximately 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.) with flexibility.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills; French is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business or a related field; CFA, CAIA or similar qualification advantageous.
