IT Specialist – Luxury Hotel

About the role

As an IT Specialist at The Lana, you will ensure seamless connectivity for guests, maintain all hotel applications and networks, and act as the first point of contact for any IT‑related guest issues.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain hotel systems (Opera, Simphony, Call Accounting, HSIA, PABX, POS) to guarantee 24/7 availability and zero downtime.
• Serve as the primary contact for guest IT complaints, prioritising and resolving issues promptly.
• Monitor and enforce Dorchester Collection IT policies, performing periodic audits.
• Provide desktop OS support, apply patches, and manage backup schedules.
• Oversee the IT Helpdesk, close tickets based on priority, and perform preventive maintenance in telecom rooms.

Required profile

• Diploma in IT or related field; CCNA and Microsoft certifications are desirable.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role within luxury hotels in the Middle East.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, independent work ethic and excellent communication in English.
• Understanding of guest‑facing technologies and a customer‑service mindset.
