IT Supervisor

About the role

The IT Supervisor will support the IT Manager in maintaining and operating all computer hardware, software, and telecommunications systems for Sofitel Dubai The Palm. This role ensures technology assets are secure, well‑maintained, and aligned with Accor policies, contributing to seamless guest and staff experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the IT Manager with hardware and software installation, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
• Serve as secondary contact for PC hardware and software servicing.
• Order and manage technology assets such as PCs, servers, and telecom equipment.
• Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity for technology systems.
• Identify and resolve performance issues across systems.
• Install, monitor, and maintain telecommunications equipment and cabling.
• Support mobile phone issues and troubleshoot high‑speed Internet connectivity.
• Perform desktop imaging, software application installs, patching, and drive mapping.
• Escalate hardware and software problems to appropriate vendors.
• Maintain full inventory and logs of hardware, software, and service calls.

Required profile

• Assist the IT Manager in day‑to‑day technology operations.
• Ensure compliance with Sofitel and Accor IT policies.
