About the role
The Junior Accountant will support daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate transaction recording, bank reconciliation and vendor payments. This role also assists in budgeting, forecasting and maintaining the general ledger in compliance with statutory policies.
Key responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting tasks, settlement and bank reconciliation.
- Support staff with expense claims and vendor invoice processing.
- Prepare vouchers and input data into the accounting system.
- Validate, file documents promptly and systematically.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasts.
- Prepare and reconcile income statements, cash flow and inter‑company balances.
- Maintain general ledger records and produce financial reports.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting roles.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Capability to interpret complex accounts.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication abilities.
- Reliable time‑management practices.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel.
- QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Proficiency with accounting software and VAT processes.
