Junior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join the Finance team of Advance Group of Companies in Dubai. The role supports daily accounting operations, ensures accurate ledger entries, and assists with VAT compliance and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily financial entries, maintain ledgers and process vouchers using Tally ERP.
• Perform account reconciliations and monthly closing activities.
• Prepare and submit UAE VAT data and support tax filings.
• Generate financial analyses, spreadsheets and reporting schedules in Microsoft Excel.
• Assist the finance department with internal audits and general reporting tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• 2–3 years of practical accounting experience.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage workload.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Tally ERP.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel for financial analysis.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance.
