Junior Copier & MFP Service Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Copier & MFP Service Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of office printing equipment. You will work on-site with customers, ensuring their copiers and multifunction printers operate smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure copiers, multifunction printers, and standard printers.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and repair of copier hardware, including paper jams, image‑quality issues, and feeding problems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance according to service schedules.
• Replace consumables and service parts such as toner, drums, developer units, rollers, fusers, and maintenance kits.
• Assist senior technicians with more complex repairs.
• Configure basic network printing and scanning, including TCP/IP settings.
• Install printer drivers on customer computers and set up scan‑to‑folder or scan‑to‑email functions.
• Record meter readings, service details, and maintain service reports for each visit.
• Communicate spare‑part and consumable needs to the service coordinator.
• Verify equipment functionality before closing a service call and maintain professional behaviour on‑site.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of copier/printer technical experience (preferred).
• Diploma or technical qualification in Electronics, Electrical, IT, Computer Hardware, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of copier mechanical and electronic systems.
• Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP and printer configuration.
• Ability to diagnose basic hardware faults.
• Willingness to learn new copier models and technologies.
• Good communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work independently after training.
• Valid UAE driving licence (preferred).
