Junior Structural Engineer (4‑month contract) – Dubai

About the role

We Source is seeking two Junior Structural Engineers for a 4‑month contract with a leading organization in Dubai. The role focuses on reviewing exhibition stand designs, conducting on‑site inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and structural standards in fast‑paced event environments.

Key responsibilities

• Review exhibition stand designs and related structural documentation.
• Conduct on‑site inspections to verify structural safety and compliance.
• Evaluate technical drawings and structural calculations.
• Prepare and review structural detailing as required.
• Ensure adherence to applicable safety and engineering standards.
• Coordinate with project teams during event operations and installations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably with exhibition stands, events or temporary structures.
• Strong English communication and report‑writing skills.
• Willingness to work onsite, including evenings, weekends and public holidays when needed.
• IOSH or other safety certification preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in reading and producing structural drawings and calculations.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Experience with STAAD.
• Knowledge of structural detailing.
