Laundry Team Leader – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Laundry Team Leader will oversee daily operations of the laundry department at One&Only One Za'abeel, ensuring guest laundry and dry‑cleaning services meet the brand’s high standards while maintaining a motivated and well‑trained team.

Key responsibilities

• Apply One&Only operating standards and procedures to all laundry activities.
• Supervise and support the Assistant Laundry Manager and Laundry Manager in maintaining productivity and smooth operations.
• Handle guest laundry and dry‑cleaning with meticulous care to guarantee customer delight.
• Provide and maintain clean, well‑kept uniforms for all colleagues.
• Conduct regular quality training on equipment use, processes, and standards.
• Perform spot checks, inventory counts of linens, uniforms, OS&E and amenities, and prepare related reports.
• Inspect laundry and housekeeping stores, address maintenance issues, and support cleaning programmes.
• Ensure high levels of hygiene and safety, including proper storage and use of chemicals.
• Assist in analysing monthly performance reports and suggest improvement areas.

Required profile

• Thorough knowledge of laundry operations, equipment, chemicals and fabric handling.
• Familiarity with One&Only standards and hospitality service expectations.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate, train and develop team members.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality and safety standards.
