Learning Support Assistant – Classroom Support

About the role

The Learning Support Assistant will work closely with teachers and students to ensure that individual learning needs are met within a vibrant international school environment in Dubai. This role provides hands‑on assistance both in the classroom and during extracurricular activities, helping students achieve academic success.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing individualized support plans for students.
• Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support during lessons and activities.
• Monitor, record and report on student progress regularly.
• Prepare, organise and maintain learning materials and resources.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and support staff to promote student wellbeing.

Required profile

• Previous experience in learning support or a similar educational role.
• Relevant certification or degree in education, special needs, or a related field.
• Understanding of safeguarding, health and safety procedures and willingness to undergo background checks.
• Commitment to ISP’s values of inclusion, respect, continuous learning and financial responsibility.
