Loss Prevention & Security Manager

About the role

The Loss Prevention & Security Manager will lead the development and implementation of safety and loss‑prevention programs for JD.COM’s operations in Dubai. This role ensures compliance with local regulations, protects assets, and supports sustainable business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update a comprehensive safety management system in line with local laws and company policies.
• Formulate emergency response plans, establish response teams and safety committees.
• Build and improve the loss‑prevention management system using data analysis, investigations, audits and process improvements.
• Investigate abnormal incidents, produce investigation reports and define corrective actions.
• Maintain on‑site safety equipment and surveillance systems.
• Coordinate with fire departments, police agencies and handle emergency incidents.
• Manage safety of the self‑operated transport fleet and drivers to reduce transport accidents.
• Oversee last‑mile delivery safety to decrease accidents and merchandise loss.

Required profile

• Minimum five years experience in chain retail or e‑commerce, with at least three years in team management.
• Background in safety management, loss prevention, risk management, inspection or related fields.
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills; Chinese language proficiency is a plus.
• Honest, upright, able to work under high pressure and familiar with local laws and criminal‑law knowledge.
• Strong investigation and interview skills; able to coordinate with government agencies.
