Security Manager

About the role

The Security Manager leads the security operations of an Accor hotel in Dubai, ensuring the safety of guests, staff and assets. This role combines operational oversight, emergency response coordination and team leadership to maintain the highest security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Train and supervise Security Officers on surveillance equipment, reporting, patrols and first‑aid procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols, monitor staff compliance with house rules and investigate any incidents or criminal matters.
• Manage emergency situations such as fire, bomb threats, injuries or police assistance, directing traffic and personnel.
• Maintain and inspect all security equipment, cameras, pocket books, key registers and access passes.
• Prepare daily security reports, investigation papers and weekly staff schedules.
• Provide security coverage for VIP guests and remain on‑call for emergencies.

Required profile

• Secondary or higher education with a SIRA Security Manager licence, CPR, First Aid and basic fire‑fighting certification.
• Minimum two years of relevant security management experience in a hotel or similar environment.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English and a clean criminal record.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and training abilities with high integrity.
