Maintenance Technician for Luxury Holiday Homes

About the role

Farwell & Gervase manages premium holiday homes across Dubai and needs a hands‑on Maintenance Technician to keep apartments guest‑ready and resolve issues quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Fix plumbing problems such as leaks, blockages, running toilets and low water pressure; handle water‑heater parts or coordinate contractors for larger issues.
• Perform electrical tasks including bulb, switch, socket replacement, breaker resets and simple fault troubleshooting.
• Maintain smart‑home devices – locks, thermostats, sensors and Wi‑Fi routers – with battery changes and resets.
• Service air‑conditioning units by cleaning filters, conducting basic servicing and escalating major faults.
• Touch‑up painting, patch walls, remove stains, and carry out carpentry repairs, furniture assembly and fixture installation.
• Diagnose minor appliance faults and arrange repair or replacement for major issues.
• Purchase parts, keep a stock in the vehicle, log jobs with photos and coordinate with the operations team for tasks beyond scope.

Required profile

• Valid HVAC and MEP certification.
• Valid UAE driving licence, preferably with own vehicle.
• Clear spoken and written English.
• Availability for a 6‑day rotating morning/evening shift schedule.
