Manager - AI Scrum

About the role

Inception, a G42 company, is seeking a Manager to own day‑to‑day Agile delivery for AI product and engineering teams. The role bridges product, engineering, applied science and data teams to turn technical inputs into visible, manageable work while supporting AI experimentation.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate sprint planning, daily coordination, reviews, retrospectives, refinement and release‑readiness activities with clear outcomes.
• Maintain a backlog that is execution‑ready by clarifying intent, acceptance evidence, dependencies and sequencing with product and technical owners.
• Structure AI experimentation as visible delivery work, defining hypotheses, datasets, evaluation criteria, timeboxes, decision points and paths to production.
• Separate exploratory work from committed engineering delivery and help teams forecast honestly.
• Track dependencies across data access, model development, evaluation, infrastructure, security, integration and deployment.
• Remove impediments directly where possible and drive timely escalation when decisions, access, capacity or external teams block progress.
• Partner with technical leads to manage changing requirements and ensure delivery alignment.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering Agile projects for AI‑focused product and engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of model exploration, data readiness, evaluation, platform work and production engineering.
• Ability to translate technical uncertainty into clear, accountable commitments.
