Manager In-Flight Connectivity

About the role

The Manager In-Flight Connectivity will shape and deliver Emirates' connectivity strategy, ensuring seamless passenger experiences through advanced technology. You will lead connectivity programs, manage supplier relationships, and guarantee technical and commercial success across the airline's fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Emirates connectivity product strategy, roadmap and service offerings.
• Define the end‑to‑end customer value proposition, including business models and monetisation strategies.
• Ensure all developments comply with Telecommunications and Digital Regulatory Authority (TDRA) regulations.
• Identify, engage and manage suppliers and service partners, supporting make/buy/partner decisions.
• Oversee connectivity programs from contract signature through deployment and in‑service execution, ensuring end‑user satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Finance on contracts, vendor negotiations and cost optimisation.
• Manage relationships with connectivity vendors and technology providers, ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
• Act as the central point of contact for escalations and drive initiatives to improve customer satisfaction.
• Work with Engineering, Service Delivery and IT teams to ensure seamless system installations, maintenance, cybersecurity and digital user‑experience enhancements.
• Maintain robust financial planning and governance for connectivity projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing connectivity programmes from contract to in‑service delivery.
• Strong knowledge of TDRA regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross‑functional teams including Engineering, Procurement, Finance and IT.
• Excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills.
