Market Surveillance Analyst – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The organization is a leading financial markets entity in Abu Dhabi, responsible for maintaining a fair and transparent capital markets environment. As a Market Surveillance Analyst you will monitor trading activity, detect suspicious behaviour, and support regulatory compliance across multiple asset classes.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor day‑to‑day trading activity to identify unusual, suspicious or potentially abusive behaviour.
• Review orders and executed trades for signs of market manipulation or regulatory breaches.
• Conduct preliminary investigations on flagged activity and prepare escalation reports.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Technology and Exchange Operations teams.
• Engage with brokers, investors and other market participants to gather information.
• Support risk management and suggest improvements to surveillance processes and systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in securities, stock exchange, capital markets, market surveillance or trading operations.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work under regulatory deadlines.
