Marketing Executive – Retail Marketing & Events

About the role

The Marketing Executive will support retail marketing activities at Dubai Festival Plaza, handling permissions, government relations, events, digital communications, and database management. The role requires strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

Key responsibilities

• Permissions Management – coordinate marketing permissions from suppliers, retailers, press and obtain government approvals.
• Events and Promotions – assist the events team, manage three‑way quotations, maintain schedules for weekends and public holidays, and ensure all permits are secured before events.
• Digital Communication – update English and Arabic DFP websites with new photos, press releases and retailer information; monitor competitor sites and produce monthly analysis reports.
• Social Media – conduct monthly monitoring on Facebook and Twitter, generate research reports for the GM Marketing and the team.
• Database Management – capture customer coupons for email/SMS campaigns, maintain a retailer database with at least 95% completion, and liaise with IT on data formats.
• Operations and Supplier Coordination – obtain quotations, coordinate signage installation and dismantling with suppliers and agencies.
