Math & Science Teacher

About the role

The Model School in Abu Dhabi is seeking a dedicated Math & Science Teacher to join our faculty. This full‑time position involves delivering high‑quality instruction, fostering a collaborative learning environment, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess mathematics and science lessons in line with curriculum standards.
• Develop and maintain teaching materials and assessment resources.
• Maintain accurate student and course records, and communicate progress to students, parents, and school management.
• Collaborate with lead teachers and other staff to refine teaching, learning, and assessment strategies.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Liaise with student counselors as needed and advise on student‑related issues.
• Adapt teaching practices to the local environment and work effectively with Emirati colleagues.

Required profile

• Commitment to student learning outcomes and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and model professional behavior.
• Willingness to integrate new technologies into classroom practice.
• Computer literacy and, preferably, spoken Arabic.
• IELTS Academic score of 6.5 for non‑native English speakers.
