Mechanical Engineer II

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer II to support assembly, installation, testing and maintenance of mechanical systems for engine programmes and test facilities. The role involves hands‑on work to ensure components meet engineering specifications, quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components, sub‑systems and structural elements following engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Install, align and fit piping, fixtures and rotating equipment, and perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Support disassembly and re‑assembly of engine parts for inspection, maintenance and testing.
• Assist in set‑up, commissioning, leak and pressure testing of mechanical systems for engine test cycles.
• Operate workshop machinery safely, maintain tools and keep work areas organized.
• Record activities, report faults and maintain documentation for traceability and audit.
• Identify and implement process improvements and participate in technical training.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of hands‑on experience in mechanical assembly, maintenance or industrial environments.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
