Procurement Lead – MRO & Industrial Services

About the role

The Procurement Lead will head strategic sourcing for maintenance, repair and operational (MRO) services across key industrial categories. Reporting to the Procurement Director, you will ensure service continuity, optimise value for money and support business growth through robust category strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement for Industrial Services categories, from strategy creation to tactical execution.
• Develop and implement actionable category strategies for Material Handling, Mobile Equipment Services, Professional Services, Facility Management, Asset Maintenance and Shut‑Down Projects.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing activities with operational priorities.
• Execute procurement requisitions, manage tail‑spend, and meet PR‑to‑PO cycle‑time targets.
• Monitor PO‑to‑GRN lead times to ensure service delivery dates and mobilisation milestones are achieved.
• Conduct regular business reviews with service providers and maintain strategic supplier relationships.
• Integrate Value for Money principles, cost models and clean‑sheet analysis into contracts.
• Lead negotiations to secure favourable terms, KPIs, SLAs and performance‑based incentives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing or category management within industrial services or MRO environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and mentor a procurement team.
