About the role
The Nursery School Principal will lead the daily operations and administration of the nursery in Abu Dhabi, ensuring compliance with the Children Act and health and safety legislation while promoting an active learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Inform staff of Active Learning requirements and standards.
- Gather staff feedback, evaluate performance, and identify site‑specific training needs.
- Network with local schools to support parent transitions and position the nursery as a feeder school.
- Prepare and distribute information packs, arrange reciprocal school visits, and coordinate open‑day collaborations.
- Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the nursery, adhering to school policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
Required profile
- Highly motivated individual with excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Demonstrated capability to manage staff, training programmes, and external school relationships.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of child safety and educational quality.
