Offshore & Marine Services Manager – Energy

About the role

The Offshore & Marine Services Manager will lead the development and delivery of marine and offshore technical consultancy services across the Middle East. Reporting to the Operations Director, the role combines technical leadership, operational management, and business development for complex vessel and offshore asset projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary consultancy projects such as vessel new‑builds, FPSO/FLNG conversions, jack‑up rig upgrades and life‑extension programmes.
• Manage technical due‑diligence, engineering plan reviews, pre‑purchase condition surveys and asset‑integrity assessments.
• Oversee inspections and surveys of MODUs, drillships, FPSOs, FLNG units, support vessels, AHTS vessels, tankers and barges.
• Direct regional field operations, allocating surveyors and technical specialists to projects.
• Control project delivery, budgets, resource allocation and profitability, assuming full P&L responsibility.
• Analyse operational and financial performance, implementing corrective actions and improvement measures.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience (approximately 17 years) in marine, offshore or energy services.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams of marine surveyors, naval architects and offshore engineers.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience acting as a technical advisor to shipowners, shipyards, NOCs, financiers and insurers.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the region and offshore sites.
