Operations Manager – Material Management (Emiratization)

About the role

The Material Management Operations Manager leads strategic planning and execution of inventory for the Automotive Division, ensuring optimal stock levels, high service performance and efficient working capital use.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate OEM programs, monitor vendor performance and reduce demand‑supply gaps.
• Validate order proposals, improve fill rates, and recover lost sales across all channels.
• Maintain balanced inventory, reduce excess and obsolete stock, and support revenue and working‑capital goals.
• Optimize network stock at branch level, manage VOR orders and minimise customer downtime.
• Continuously monitor inventory performance, refine Syncron parameters and implement corrective actions.
• Lead operational processing (ASN, logistics, master data) and coach material planners to ensure compliance and excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in supply chain or inventory operations.
• 1‑2 years of team‑leadership experience, preferably in automotive parts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP ERP.
• Experience using Syncron for inventory planning.
• Strong analytical skills with Alteryx, Power BI and Tableau.
