Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Lead

About the role

The Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Lead will drive the implementation and post‑go‑live support of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials for a major UAE client. Working onsite in Abu Dhabi/Dubai, you will lead requirement workshops, configure modules, and coordinate an offshore design and testing team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirement‑gathering workshops with finance stakeholders to capture current processes and pain points.
• Configure Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Expenses.
• Design and set up Chart of Accounts, ledgers, legal entities, and business units to meet statutory reporting.
• Define sub‑ledger accounting rules and approval workflows (BPM) for invoices, expenses, journals, and payments.
• Lead functional design of month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes, including inter‑company accounting.
• Prepare BR100 configuration documents, functional test scripts, and training materials.
• Collaborate with end users and manage an offshore team for design, development, testing, and deployment.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of hands‑on Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials experience.
• Successfully led at least three end‑to‑end Oracle Fusion Financials implementations.
• Proven ability to work directly with finance end users and coordinate offshore resources.
• Strong functional expertise in General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Expenses.
