Part‑Time Maths Teacher for KS1‑KS4 (0.8 FTE)

About the role

iBOS is seeking a part‑time Maths teacher (0.8 FTE) to deliver British National Curriculum lessons to students from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4 in Dubai. The role involves planning, teaching, assessing and supporting a diverse learner cohort in an on‑site classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated maths lessons aligned with the British National Curriculum.
• Prepare teaching materials, mark assignments, provide feedback and monitor student progress.
• Maintain accurate records, communicate with parents/guardians and uphold safeguarding policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues, attend school meetings and contribute to an inclusive learning atmosphere.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) and subject‑specific expertise in Mathematics.
• Experience teaching maths across KS1‑KS4 and supporting learners of varied backgrounds and abilities.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with students, parents and staff in a multicultural setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in lesson planning and creating differentiated schemes of work.
• Familiarity with British National Curriculum standards and assessment practices.
• Ability to use digital tools and resources to enhance teaching and learning.
