Patient Coordinator / Receptionist

About the role

We are seeking a Patient Coordinator / Receptionist to join a well‑established wellness and medical centre in Abu Dhabi. The role is full‑time and involves being the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring smooth patient flow and maintaining a professional front‑desk environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet patients and visitors in person and over the phone, providing courteous service.
• Answer calls using proper telephone etiquette and manage the reception area to keep it clean and organized.
• Register new patients and update existing records, collecting personal and financial information accurately.
• Notify providers of patient arrivals, monitor delays, and communicate effectively with clinical staff.
• Respond to inquiries from patients, prospective patients and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Protect patient confidentiality by securing PHI and logging off computers when unattended.

Required profile

• Fluent English; Arabic speaking highly desirable.
• At least one year of receptionist experience in a healthcare setting.
• Previous experience as a Patient Coordinator.
• Residency in the UAE.
• Experience handling insurance and claims management.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with a warm, friendly personality.
