People Operations Specialist – MENA (Hybrid, Dubai)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, data‑driven People Operations Specialist to support the MENA region from our Dubai hub. The role works within the Global People Operations Specialist Team, reporting to the Global People Operations Lead and collaborating with regional partners across APAC, Europe and the Americas.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver consistent service across the employee lifecycle, identify knowledge gaps and coordinate upskilling for managers and People teams.
• Partner with the Head of Global People Operations to audit and improve processes, policies and systems, driving automation and compliance initiatives.
• Act as a tier‑2/3 escalation point for complex People Operations queries, resolve issues and feed insights back into knowledge bases.
• Coordinate global employment and mobility matters, including visa compliance, relocation guidance and sponsorship processes.
• Produce accurate People data and insights for local and global audiences, and champion Workday adoption and training.
• Support benefits communication, manage monthly payroll submissions and ensure compliance with payroll legislation.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering People Operations support in complex, multi‑country environments, preferably with exposure to benefits, compliance, immigration and global mobility.
• Strong project coordination skills, able to move initiatives from planning to delivery with multiple stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of UAE employment and immigration regulations and the ability to guide managers through related processes.
• Excellent organisational abilities, stakeholder‑management and communication skills, with a service‑oriented mindset.
