Physics Teacher – Start August 2026

About the role

GEMS Founders School in Masdar City is seeking a qualified Physics Teacher to join the faculty for the academic year beginning in August 2026. The school is British Schools Overseas accredited and offers a vibrant, international learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging Physics lessons for secondary students.
• Prepare and mark examinations and coursework in line with the curriculum.
• Contribute to the development of the science department and school-wide initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, iPGCE) or equivalent experience.
• Passion for teaching Physics and fostering student curiosity.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural school community.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of secondary‑level Physics concepts and curriculum.
• Effective classroom management and instructional techniques.
