PMC Lead Static Engineer

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Lead Static Engineer to oversee the design, development, and implementation of static equipment for a high‑profile client in the energy sector. You will ensure that all static systems meet functional, safety, and regulatory requirements while supporting the delivery of large‑scale oil and gas projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the static equipment design team and coordinate with multidisciplinary disciplines.
• Validate design solutions against project specifications, industry standards, and safety criteria.
• Manage technical reviews, approvals, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to keep the project on schedule.

Required profile

• Proven experience in static equipment design and project management within the oil & gas or related energy sectors.
• Strong understanding of industry codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast‑paced environment.
