Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Lead Telecommunications Engineer to drive detailed design activities for a high‑profile client in the energy sector. The successful candidate will ensure that all telecommunications solutions meet performance, reliability and industry‑standard requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the detailed design of telecommunications systems, guaranteeing compliance with relevant standards.
• Validate system performance and reliability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate telecom solutions into larger energy projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Required profile

• Proven track record in telecommunications engineering on large, complex projects.
• Strong experience in design verification, performance testing and standards compliance.
• Ability to lead technical teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
