Prescription Manager

About the role

Schneider Electric is seeking a Prescription Manager to lead the specification and prescription of its Low Voltage, Medium Voltage, Busway, UPS and Digital Solutions portfolio across critical infrastructure, commercial buildings, industrial facilities and data centres in the United Arab Emirates.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with consultants, design institutes and end‑users.
• Position Schneider solutions in project specifications and conduct technical presentations and workshops.
• Identify early‑stage project opportunities and drive prescriptions that align with IEC, IEEE and local utility standards.
• Support bid and tender teams with specification insights and positioning strategies.
• Promote power products such as LV switchgear, circuit breakers, busway, MV switchgear, protection relays, UPS systems and digital platforms.
• Track competitor activity, market trends and consultant preferences to inform strategic positioning.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, tendering and execution teams to ensure project success.
• Champion Schneider’s sustainability and decarbonisation agenda through digitisation and smart energy solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience in power distribution, LV/MV switchgear, UPS or digital energy solutions.
• Proven ability to influence project design decisions and secure product prescriptions.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills with consultants and end‑users.
• Understanding of IEC 61439, IEC 60947, IEC 62271, IEEE 519 and local utility regulations.
