Primary Teacher (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Primary Teacher to join our Abu Dhabi campus starting September 2024. The role involves delivering the primary curriculum, fostering a safe learning environment, and collaborating with parents and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for primary students in line with the school curriculum.
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure the welfare and protection of children.
• Participate in administrative duties, including record‑keeping and reporting.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
• Contribute to team meetings and school-wide initiatives.

Required profile

• Certified teaching qualification (B.Ed., PGCE, PGDE or equivalent) specialising in Early Childhood or Primary Education.
• Minimum three years of practical experience teaching at primary level.
• All certificates must be attested; distance or open‑university degrees accepted only with MOE equivalency.
• Experience with High Performance Learning (HPL) is an advantage.

Required skills

• Excellent command of English.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills for interaction with students and parents.
• Proficiency with IT tools for lesson preparation and reporting.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
