Primary Teacher – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will create an engaging, inclusive learning environment for young learners and collaborate closely with colleagues, parents, and school leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
• Create a positive, safe classroom atmosphere that meets the diverse learning needs of all students.
• Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to support different learning styles and abilities.
• Assess, record and report student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Maintain classroom routines that promote respect, responsibility and positive behaviour.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff and leadership to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, parent‑teacher conferences and school events.
• Integrate technology and digital tools to enrich learning and student engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification or licensure for the UAE or relevant jurisdiction.
• At least one year of experience teaching primary‑aged children.
• Experience working with diverse learners, including those with special educational needs.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of child development and age‑appropriate teaching methods.
• Effective classroom and behaviour management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in educational technology and digital teaching tools.
