Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

As a Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist you will be the central purchasing hub for a multi‑company group, converting ERP dispositions into purchase orders and ensuring smooth order and delivery processes for sites in Austria, Germany and the UAE. Based in the UAE, you will work within a focused three‑person purchasing team and act as both internal supplier and buyer for intercompany transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Convert ERP dispositions (AP+) into accurate purchase orders for all group entities and maintain correct article setup, pricing and conditions.
• Verify order confirmations, update the ERP system, track delivery dates and coordinate any changes with inside sales.
• Negotiate pricing, discounts and backup suppliers, and build long‑term relationships with European and Asian partners.
• Manage intercompany buy‑and‑sell process: receive internal requests, source external suppliers, calculate margins and execute the full chain.
• Inform logistics teams in Austria and Germany about arrivals, and arrange freight forwarders for consolidated transports.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on experience in end‑to‑end procurement, purchasing or order management within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to handle both purchasing and intercompany sales responsibilities, preferably in a UAE/GCC setting.
• Strong, well‑founded knowledge of major ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics/Navision or similar).
