Product Engineer – Commissioning & Operations (Global Data Center)

About the role

Eaton is seeking a Product Engineer to lead commissioning and operations services for its Global Data Center segment. Based in Dubai, you will own the global service product strategy, ensuring standardized, scalable, and digitally enabled offerings across regions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the end‑to‑end lifecycle of commissioning and operations service products, from concept through deployment.
• Develop a global roadmap covering single‑system functional testing, L3/L4 integrated testing (off‑site and on‑site), digitized commissioning workflows, and operational service execution models.
• Ensure global consistency of service offerings while accommodating regional regulatory and execution requirements.
• Collaborate with the Post Order Center of Excellence to align services with the BrightLayer Data Center (BLDC) roadmap.
• Drive automation, standardization, and differentiation of commissioning and operations at scale.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product engineering or service development within data center, power management, or related technical environments.
• Strong understanding of commissioning processes, integrated testing, and operational service models.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, and regional teams.
• Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.

Required skills

• Experience with functional and integrated testing methodologies (L3/L4).
• Knowledge of digitized commissioning workflows and service automation.
• Familiarity with global product roadmap development.
