Product Manager – Payments

About the role

As the Product Manager – Payments you will partner with the Botim Business Product Executive to shape the vision and strategy for Botim For Business payment‑acceptance solutions. You will own the full portfolio, from concept and launch through scaling and performance optimisation, ensuring merchants can accept payments smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategy, roadmap and performance metrics for payment‑acceptance products.
• Identify customer needs, market opportunities and differentiation points together with the Business Product Executive.
• Lead new payment propositions from discovery, validation, launch and iterative improvement.
• Design end‑to‑end merchant experiences, including onboarding, activation, transaction management, refunds and reporting.
• Specify product requirements for authorization, capture, routing, settlement, refunds and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with engineering and external partners to deliver resilient, scalable integrations.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as activation rates, payment volume, authorization success, settlement performance and merchant retention.
• Analyse cost and revenue drivers to inform product decisions and commercial objectives.

Required profile

• Strong combination of customer understanding, commercial judgment and payments expertise.
• Proven ability to lead payment propositions from discovery through launch.
• Experience translating customer, commercial and operational needs into clear product priorities.
• Capability to balance short‑term delivery with long‑term portfolio development.
