Product Specialist – Eyecare (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

AbbVie is seeking a Product Specialist for its Eyecare portfolio in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for driving sales performance, meeting brand KPIs, and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales, financial, and marketing targets for the Eyecare brand.
• Create and execute pre‑call plans using SMART objectives and conduct post‑call evaluations.
• Handle objections and guide customers toward logical purchase decisions.
• Develop and maintain a call plan that maximizes coverage, frequency, and access to key customers.
• Gather market intelligence on customer needs, competitor activity, and disease trends, and share insights with the brand and sales teams.
• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition and identify disease‑state experts and advocates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical studies.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Product Specialist in the UAE, preferably in a specialty line.
• Relevant experience in biotechnology or pharmaceuticals.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Practical knowledge of healthcare professionals and disease‑area requirements.
• High ethical standards and a curiosity for continuous learning.
