Project Director – Data Centre

About the role

Currie & Brown is seeking a Project Director to lead Data Centre projects in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for defining, planning and delivering complex projects while ensuring alignment with client expectations and corporate standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives and delivery plans.
• Establish control mechanisms and monitor budgets, schedules and performance.
• Lead and manage the internal project team and external stakeholders.
• Produce and track financial plans, highlighting variances and taking corrective actions.
• Review and improve project processes using industry best practices.
• Provide senior management with progress updates, risk assessments and mitigation proposals.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Proven experience leading Data Centre projects.
• Project management professional certification or accreditation.
• Demonstrated team‑leadership capabilities and values.
• Experience in both pre‑contract and post‑contract phases.
• Strong knowledge of industry best practice and contract administration.
• Commercial acumen and ability to manage external relationships.
• Trusted advisor mindset for client interactions.
