Project Manager – Healthcare Facilities

About the role

A leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead critical infrastructure, renovation and expansion projects within a live hospital environment. The role requires balancing project delivery with strict compliance and minimal disruption to clinical operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution and handover of hospital renovation, expansion and infrastructure projects.
• Manage the full project lifecycle from concept and design through to completion and handover.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
• Oversee MEP systems, infrastructure upgrades and asset‑lifecycle initiatives.
• Coordinate with facilities management teams, contractors, consultants and vendors.
• Integrate medical equipment and technical systems into project scopes.
• Maintain full compliance with DOH, DHA and international standards such as JCI.
• Manage approvals, permits and regulatory submissions.
• Act as the primary interface between clinical, operational and technical stakeholders.
• Supervise external contractors and consultants to ensure performance and accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in healthcare project management and hospital facilities or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience delivering projects in live clinical settings.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and regulatory frameworks (DOH, DHA, JCI).
• PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
