Project Manager – Railway Stations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the construction of railway stations using the Top‑Down Construction Method for a major railway project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing all site activities, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring delivery on schedule, budget and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall construction activities for railway stations, including excavation, diaphragm walls, piling, structural works, slabs and waterproofing.
• Develop and control construction planning, sequencing, resources and productivity to meet project schedules.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, QA/QC, HSE, MEP, railway systems and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, safety standards and authority requirements.
• Resolve technical and construction issues, manage project interfaces and monitor subcontractor performance, cost, quality and progress.
• Lead, mentor and develop multidisciplinary construction teams.
• Maintain communication with client, consultant, authorities and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 20 years of construction experience, with extensive work on railway, metro or underground station projects.
• Hands‑on expertise in Top‑Down Construction Method and deep excavation.
• Strong knowledge of diaphragm walls, piling, temporary works and underground structures.
• Experience in the UAE/GCC railway sector preferred.
• Proven leadership, communication, planning and problem‑solving abilities.
