Marine Foreman – Construction Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Marine Foreman to supervise and coordinate daily marine construction activities in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing works such as piling, jetties, quay walls, breakwaters, pontoons and dredging, while ensuring safety, quality and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily marine construction activities, including piling, jetties, quay walls, breakwaters, pontoons, and dredging.
• Lead site crews, subcontractors, operators and marine workforce to ensure safe and efficient execution.
• Monitor progress against project schedules, drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Engineers, Marine Superintendents and other stakeholders to resolve site issues.
• Ensure proper utilization of marine equipment such as barges, boats and cranes.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce HSE compliance.
• Inspect completed works, report progress and site challenges, and maintain daily records and permits.

Required profile

• Diploma or Technical Qualification in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in marine construction projects.
• Proven experience with jetties, quay walls, breakwaters, pontoons, piling, dredging and coastal protection.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and construction plans.
• Valid UAE Driving License.
