Purchasing Manager - Luxury Hotel Pre-Opening

About the role

A luxury fashion hotel in Dubai is looking for an experienced, commercially driven and highly organised Purchasing Manager to join its pre-opening team. The role covers all purchasing and procurement activities, ensuring timely sourcing of quality goods and services while keeping costs efficient, compliant and aligned with brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchasing in line with company standards, policies and approved budgets, and negotiate pricing, payment terms and contracts with suppliers.
• Oversee purchase requisitions, quotations, purchase orders and timely deliveries, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Coordinate FF&E, OS&E and operational purchasing needs, maintain procurement trackers and plan for opening.
• Evaluate, select and manage suppliers, keep their contracts and records, and carry out due diligence such as trade licenses, VAT documents and banking verification.
• Monitor spending against budgets, prepare forecasts and expenditure reports, and resolve delivery and order issues with Receiving and Stores.
• Run FutureLog purchasing workflows, ensure compliance with UAE regulations and audit requirements, and provide procurement and budget reports to the Director of Finance.
• Promote ethical, sustainable sourcing and reduce waste.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• CIPS or equivalent certification is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong negotiation, supplier management and cost-control skills.
• Knowledge of FutureLog or similar procurement systems.
• Familiarity with UAE regulations and procurement standards.
