QA Engineer - Testing

About the role

Halian is seeking a QA Engineer to join its team in Abu Dhabi on a 12‑month extendable contract. The role focuses on ensuring the quality of mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms through both manual and automated testing.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute manual and automated test cases for mobile apps.
• Maintain and update test scripts using tools such as Appium and Selenium.
• Track, report and verify defects using a defect‑tracking system.
• Collaborate with development and product teams in an Agile environment to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality releases.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines to integrate testing activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in manual and automation testing of mobile applications.
• Hands‑on experience with testing tools like Appium or Selenium.
• Strong understanding of test case design, test planning and defect tracking.
• Experience testing both iOS and Android applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and Agile methodologies.
• Detail‑oriented with a quality‑first mindset.
