Quality Assurance Manager

About the role

The Quality Assurance Manager will lead the implementation of internal policies, procedures and standards across academic and administrative functions. This role ensures compliance, drives continuous improvement, and supports accreditation and audit processes within a higher‑education environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement internal policies, procedures and standards with academic and administrative staff.
• Monitor team performance, recommend improvements and follow‑up on action plans.
• Collaborate with the Risk and Audit Committee to assess internal control systems, corporate governance, risk management and compliance.
• Lead internal audits and act as team lead for external audit reviews and accreditation processes.
• Investigate violations of the code of conduct and ensure corrective actions.
• Review and enhance systems for identifying, assessing and managing financial and operational risks.
• Develop frameworks to detect and resolve fraud issues.
• Prepare reports for internal review, external audits and regulatory bodies such as KHDA and MOHE.
• Assist the Dean with MOHE accreditation requirements and ongoing reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in higher‑education administration, leading quality assurance and institutional effectiveness activities.
• Experience in risk management and audit processes is strongly preferred.
