Quality Officer – Accreditation & Regulatory Improvement

About the role

The Quality Officer – Accreditation & Regulatory Improvement is responsible for implementing and coordinating quality management and improvement processes across the facility. Working under the guidance of the Manager, the role ensures that regulatory and accreditation standards are consistently met and that quality data supports better patient outcomes and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate development, implementation, and evaluation of the facility’s overall quality improvement program.
• Partner with all departments and practices to ensure quality and safety priorities are applied.
• Facilitate and suggest improvements based on hospital‑wide performance measures or senior management requests.
• Contribute to the creation of tools and resources that support the quality development program.
• Participate in departmental feedback meetings to provide solutions.
• Assist departments with project timelines and coordinate needed internal support.
• Identify and apply appropriate quality improvement methodologies as directed by management.
• Provide ongoing support to quality teams and maintain quality management documents securely and confidentially.
• Facilitate quality‑improvement committees/task forces and ensure recommendations are executed and evaluated.
• Develop and implement facility‑wide policies and procedures under manager guidance.
• Liaise with accreditation bodies for program implementation.
• Manage reliable data collection, validation, and analysis to improve care delivery efficiency.
• Develop project timelines, monitor progress, and ensure closure of action plans.
• Ensure all documents are in the appropriate format with validated data and escalate challenges to the Manager.
