Racquet Sports Manager

About the role

The Racquet Sports Manager will lead commercial and strategic growth of Zayed Sports City’s racquet sports programme, creating and executing a business plan that drives revenue, increases participation and strengthens community engagement across grassroots and elite levels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a racquet‑sport business plan aligned with the venue’s overall strategy.
• Drive court occupancy, programme participation and revenue targets.
• Build partnerships with academies, schools, federations and sponsors.
• Design and manage junior and adult programmes, camps, leagues and tournaments.
• Oversee high‑performance pathways in collaboration with national and international partners.
• Maintain courts and facilities to the highest standards and manage staff schedules, coaches and bookings.
• Introduce technology to streamline booking and membership processes.
• Collaborate with marketing to create campaigns, organise events and promote a strong racquet‑sport culture.
• Set and manage budgets, monitor KPIs and provide regular business reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in sports or facility management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of commercial growth and programme development in racquet sports.
• Strong stakeholder management and partnership building abilities.
